Space Broccoli is our part in Other Half's Freaky Friday, a recipe swap where two breweries trade a signature beer and each brews the other's on its own system. Other Half handed us one of their most beloved Imperial IPAs, and we brewed it at our Hinesburg brewery.
The Recipe starts with Other Half's classic Broccoli, built on Mosaic, Simcoe and Hallertau Blanc, then trades the Cascade for a heavy dose of Galaxy. That's where the "Space" comes from. Double dry-hopped and coming in at 7.9%, it pours hazy and soft, with bright citrus, tropical fruit and a hint of white grape over a full, plush body. And no, there's no broccoli in it.
We've worked with our friends in Brooklyn before on Made Up Dream. This time we traded places.
