Orange Dot 2021 was brewed in the Spring of 2020 and fermented with our mixed culture. A beer HoF has released previously, this vintage is a slight departure from the original. The grist for Orange Dot 2021 is comprised of @Valleymalt Pilsen malt and @NittyGrittyGrain’s raw winter wheat. After primary fermentation in oak, the beer was aged in white wine barrels until winter of 2020. Select barrels were then chosen for further aging with Nagami, Meiwa, and Centennial Kumquats as well as the zest of Seville oranges. Finally, a generous portion of Vermont wildflower honey from Foam + HoF’s apiary was added, and the beer was at last bottled in the spring of 2021. This Golden Sour is 5.4% abv.
