In celebration of our Funk On The Water Wild Ale Festival, FOTW5 is a blend of 2018 & 2020 oak aged golden sour chosen specifically for 2021's Funk On The Water. The grist for this beer was comprised of Valley Malt Pilsen malt & Nitty Gritty Grain raw Redeemer wheat, followed by the use of VT raw wildflower honey. It was then hopped w/ Styrian Goldings. Bottled in early 2021, 5.4%. Once in bottles & ready to enjoy, we cracked open a bottle, & enjoy we did. Notes of tangy lemon, earthy middle eastern spice & candied ginger coated our palates.
