The music of riverbed is born from and evokes natural landscapes; the name riverbed itself is grounded in the natural world, in the stability that underlies ceaseless movement.
In Christie’s songs, place and nature are not just a backdrop but a foundation of hope and light among a changing and challenging journey of life. Innovative arrangements provide accompaniment to poetry that speak of resiliency as a source of steadiness amidst loss, sorrow, uncertainty, and change.
Christie’s lyrical stylings are complemented by collaboration with the voices and instrumentals of Natasha Thweatt, Melissa Escudero, Blake Suben, Nick Katz, and Eli Greenhoe.
