Joe Agnello is a Burlington, Vermont-based guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter known for his dynamic performances and versatile musicianship. With a sound rooted in rock, blues, and jam music, he brings a unique blend of intricate guitar work, soulful vocals, and improvisational energy to every project he takes on.
Joe was a member of Swimmer, a high-energy rock band with a progressive edge, and he currently performs with Zach Nugent’s Dead Set, channeling the spirit of the Grateful Dead with a fresh, inspired approach. He is also a founding member of Good Gravy, a bluegrass trio that fuses traditional string-band sounds with modern influences.
Whether leading a band or sitting in as a collaborator, Joe’s playing is marked by technical precision and expressive depth, making him a sought-after musician in the New England music scene.
