Funk On The Water is back!
SAVE THE DATE(S)!
Friday, August 12 - Sunday, August 14
Join us for the sixth iteration of our annual celebration of wild and funky beer, raising money for ECHO and Lake Champlain. Keeping with tradition, there will be no shortage of delicious food from Deep City & local food trucks as well as plenty of incredible live music, entertainment and more. We'll be pouring beer from a killer lineup of some of the best producers in the world of mixed fermentation and wild ales. Stay tuned for the lineup announcement in the coming weeks. A new and exciting component of this year’s festival will be an educational brewer’s/producer’s panel where you’ll get to hear from the masters and learn about their processes.
Major Details:
• Similar to last year, we'll be asking a Door Donation to Enter - This grants you access the entire festival/weekend
• Beer from world class breweries, each pouring a mix of wild ales and more
• live music & food trucks
• family friendly interactive installations with ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain
------------------------------------
FOTW6 will function as a continuous weekend long celebration with beers available from a lineup of world class breweries starting on Friday and ending Sunday night. There will be a variety of mixed culture and brewer's choice beers from each brewery, all weekend long.
Upon entry guests will pay a 1-time donation that will go directly to ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain. In return, guests will receive a wrist band that grants you access for the entire weekend. Guests may then purchase 4oz samples of festival beers or half/full pours of non-festival Foam offerings. Festival beers will rotate throughout the weekend. More details on this to come.
Once you've made the donation, you may leave and come back, but you may have to wait in line if we are at full capacity when you return.
We will offer an Early Access ticket option which grants you entry one hour early on both Friday and Saturday as well as allows access to a faster line when we are at full capacity - think TSA Pre-Check at the airport : )

[BEER RELEASES]
FOTW 2022:
Mixed Culture Ale brewed in collaboration with House of Fermentology.
Fermented and aged in neutral French Oak for six months. During the aging process, raw wildflower honey from our very own apiary was added to the barrels. Conditioned and aged in the bottle for an entire year. This bveer is crackling dry, with hints of assorted fruits, vanilla and hint of white pepper. There’s a pleasant, light acidity present. 6.8% abv.
House of Fermentology's Duration Dot: Golden Sour.
A one and two year old Golden Sour blend fermented and aged in oak. Moved into stainless atop whole fresh crushed peaches, fermenting slowly six months following aging in oak. Brewed with Pilsen malts from both Vermont Malthouse and Valley Malt. Raw wheat sourced from Nitty Gritty Grain and NEK Grains. Conditioned naturally in the bottle early 2022 with our own raw Vermont wildflower. Tasting Notes of citrus, stone fruit, peach Bellini spritz, lactic with a round subtle sweetness. Bottles available at Foam in-person only, starting Friday at noon. $17/500ml. Limit 3 pp.

[A Beer Celebration For Lake Champlain Water Quality]
Access to clean water is of utmost importance. Alongside creating the best possible experience for all of you, we are driven to be a positive impact on our watershed rather than a negative one. Therefore, the proceeds from this festival will benefit the ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain to help raise awareness for the importance of clean water and how it benefits our community.
Members from ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain will be present at FOTW, with a table with displaying educational materials about what they do, what's going on in Lake Champlain, and how we can all help. They'll have some *fun* interactive activities if you want to learn more, tell your story about clean water or just get more involved.
