The year is 2026.

7 years ago, a quirk of fate in the undercity of Detroit forever changed the life of Grant Burton. Unable to return to sleep from the waking light of the underground sun, he adopted a new identity and purpose: Anxiocide.

In return for imbibing Detroit’s extraterrestrial waters, Anxiocide moved East to search for other wellsprings of subterranean magic. Shortly after crash landing in the Green Mountains of Vermont, he discovered more than he ever dreamed possible, and with the blessing of the local masters began to offer his own contributions to the endless dance.

The world was never the same.

Anxiocide has since relentlessly published a series of investigations into the mysteries of sound, on his own and with record labels Burlington Electronic Department, Noisy Meditation, and No Fun Intended, with more to follow this year. He has shared stages with fellow sound detectives at Flash Club D.C., Waking Windows Festival, Higher Ground, Art Hop Festival, Sunday Night Mass, Sparkomatic, Light Club Lamp Shop, Function, and The Green Door Studio.
